We do not collect your documents
PaperDuo has no account, sign-in, analytics, advertising SDK or server of its own. The developer does not receive your documents, recognized text, AI results, notes or signatures from the app.
Where documents live
Scans, imports, corrected text, edits, signatures, notes and analysis are kept in the app's protected storage on your iPhone. The app requests exclusion from automatic backup, though an operating-system transfer or restore cannot be guaranteed to exclude every copy. Deleting the app or using Delete all local data removes its local archive; already exported copies are not affected.
On-device analysis
Text recognition uses Apple's on-device Vision framework. Analysis and questions use Apple's on-device Foundation Models on compatible iPhones with Apple Intelligence ready. Your documents are not uploaded for analysis and no third-party AI runtime is used. Scanning, text recognition, editing and export remain available when AI is not.
Sharing is your choice
Information leaves PaperDuo only after you choose and review an export or handoff, such as a shared file, calendar event, reminder, email draft, contact or Maps address. The destination app or service handles a copy under its own settings and policy. PaperDuo does not make payments.
Support
PaperDuo does not send diagnostic reports to the developer. Settings includes a link to our support website. If you choose to contact us outside the app, we receive only the information you decide to send and use it to respond to your request.
Purchases
If you choose to buy Pro, Apple processes payment through StoreKit. PaperDuo receives entitlement status, not your payment details.
