Start playing
Ode to Joy is selected when you first open Foldeon. Drag the red bellows left and right: Demo plays the notes for you. Faster movement plays faster; stop moving to pause. You do not need to press any keys in Demo.
iPhone and iPad
On iPhone, try landscape orientation. On iPad, use the same red touch bellows with a larger instrument. Version 1.0 uses touch controls and does not include hinge input.
Learn and free play
Choose Songs to select a tune. Tap Learn it to play the highlighted notes yourself while moving the bellows. Tap the song’s × button for free play. Turn on Hold notes to select a chord before dragging.
No sound?
Raise media volume and check your audio output. Foldeon plays through Silent Mode. Moving the bellows is needed in Automatic mode. For playback without movement, select Settings → Bellows → Sound only. Tap Play demo for automatic songs in Sound only.
A comfortable grip
Support the back with your fingers and use your thumbs on the outer keys. Settings → Your grip adjusts the key height in the wide layout. The screen has no raised keys: turn on Hold notes and choose your notes before dragging, or use Demo.
